A bit about me…
I would never have known about therapy or counseling or wanted to provide this type of care if I had not first had the experience of sitting as a client in therapy myself. I am grateful for and appreciate the experiences in my life that have led me here, to my own practice. I have been a nurse in the greater Seattle area from almost 2 decades, mostly working in hospice, but with time in oncology and labor and delivery as well.
Working with folks on both ends of the life spectrum is one of my favorites, and I’m consistently drawn toward the links between life and death. I don’t shy away from a hard conversation. I absolutely love the mountains and being outside in mother nature. I’m always looking for an excuse to get away from the clutches of my phone and enjoy a more low-tech life. If not working, I’m usually busy with my own family. As a parent of two young kids, you can find me knee deep in the messiness and reality that is life :)
